Before we explore RA's teachings of Angels and Demons, it's important to have an understanding of the 7 densities of consciousness before reading this article, otherwise it may be rather confusing to understand.

Every individual on the path through the 7 densities is oriented somewhere on the spectrum between positive and negative. On this path, the individual can either choose to follow the positive polarity of service-to-others, or the negative polarity of service-to-self. As 3rd density is that of self-awareness and choice, it is here that each being chooses the polarity they wish to experience.

The positive and negative polarities are neither good nor bad. RA describes them as the positive being in service-to-others through love, whereas the negative is service-to-self through fear. Both paths actually serve the self, but the positive path serves the self through FIRST serving others in love. In doing so, both the other beings and themselves experience more love and light. The negative serves the self at the cost of other beings through manipulation, control and domination.

What makes an individual choose a positive or negative path? This is a choice the being makes based on what they want to experience in their lifetime - their theme of exploration. It is all based on choice, the free will of the being. The vast majority of beings gravitate toward the positive path as it is the path of love, light, and unity. It is an easier path to follow, whereas the negative path of darkness and struggle is more difficult.

The essential nature of the One Creator is that of oneness, which is of unity, harmony, love and light. It takes a tremendous amount of energy to maintain negative polarization. But the negatively polarized energies are always equally honored by the positive as simply being another expression of the One Creator. There is always the recognition that the negative path serves a purpose in providing contrast between the positive and negative.

At the higher densities, all beings can read the energy signatures of other beings. Positively polarized beings can read negatively polarized beings as missing the integration of the green ray energy and vice versa. Negatively polarized beings stay far away from any positively polarized being who shows an active green ray energy center. Positively polarized beings have access to the full spectrum of their energy centers and embody a radiant white light. Negatively polarized beings cannot radiate white light, and emit more of a red/orange energy.

Because of the power of the positive path, negatively polarized beings will always avoid positively polarized beings to prevent loss of their energy toward the negative.

Individuals progress into either 4th density positive or 4th density negative. To move into 4th density positive, they must be at least 51% positively polarized (a concept reiterated in the Bashar's teachings). To progress into 4th density negative, an individual must be at least 95% negatively polarized. This makes the service-to-self path very difficult to sustain, and continuing on this path is known as spiritual entropy.

The more a polarity is strengthened, either positive or negative, the more power that individual possesses. Positive beings honor the free will of all to gain and maintain their positive polarization. If they violate the free will of others, they will begin to polarize toward the negative. Negative entities gain negative polarization by violating the free will of others. If they honor the free will of others, they will then begin to polarize positively.

Within 4th density, the spiritual gravity of love is so powerful that positively polarized beings begin to join together to form what RA calls a Social Memory Complex, a group consciousness where all knowledge and memories of the individuals become a part of the whole. As more beings join, the consciousness of the Social Memory Complex becomes larger and more powerful. By joining this Social Memory Complex, beings are then able to serve others in an even greater capacity, which in turn increases the polarization of the positive. At this stage, a Social Memory Complex can become teachers and guides to other lesser-evolved civilizations. Eventually, Earth will have a Social Memory Complex which will be very similar to the Social Memory Complex of RA.

RA mentions that when someone dies, we never actually lose them. Their consciousness, and therefore all their accumulated knowledge and memories, is shared by all within the Social Memory Complex.

Angels and Archangels are positively polarized Social Memory Complexes. What we on Earth call Angels are beings from higher densities that have evolved into light bodies. As we progress from 1st to 7th density, the body evolves from the chemical composition of being physical to becoming formed from light. We begin the process of experiencing our light body in late 4th density. This is why Angels are referred to as beings of light in the texts of ancient civilizations.

Angels and Archangels are highly evolved Social Memory Complexes that are considered Guardians. They serve as a group consciousness that decide how best to serve and guide other civilizations. RA calls the function of this Social Memory Complex the Confederation of Planets.

It is the destiny of all beings to become Angels as they progress along their evolutionary path.

The Confederation of Planets is led by a Counsel of 9 Archangels from both 5th and 6th density. Should the Confederation experience any uncertainty with regard to what action to take, they are guided by the advice of The Guardians, 24 Archangels of higher density. RA states that the Confederation of Planets are all allied in service according to the Law of One.

There is also a group of a higher density Social Memory Complexes who serve the galaxy.

To protect free will on Earth from being infringed, the Confederation of Planets created a quarantine around the planet. This quarantine serves to prevent negative beings from coming to Earth with the intent to control others.

The Guardians monitor Earth constantly to be aware of any beings approaching, ensuring that negative polarized beings who desire to enter the quarantine of Earth are met with love and light. This gives those beings the power to heal themselves and polarize positively, should they choose to. Should they choose otherwise, the negatively polarized beings depart, as they always obey the quarantine. RA explains that the quarantine is always obeyed due to the power of the Law of One.

The power of the positive polarity, the path of light, is far more powerful than the path of darkness. This is why RA states that a match can illuminate an entire room. The positive path can easily extinguish the negative, but it only does so with the power of light. It never infringing on the free will of a being who chooses to follow the negative polarity. Those positively polarized can, however, intervene when negatively polarized beings infringe on the free will of positively polarized beings. Angels and Archangels will always use the power of love and light when faced with beings of negatively oriented polarity. RA explains that love is the most powerful energy in the Universe.

Angels possess vast spiritual wisdom, never interfering with the path of others unless there is an infringement of free will. This is why Angels will never prevent negative events from happening to us as chosen by our own free will (however unconscious of this we are). These choices are all part of the evolutionary process of each being. The events experienced by beings is known as the law of attraction.

RA often declined answering questions during sessions, explaining that sometimes the answer would be considered infringing on the free will of the questioner, depriving them of experiences that were necessary for the growth of that being.

In order for a being to move into 4th density negative, beings must first be polarized 95% or more toward the negative polarity, or path. Because the negatively polarized being does not experience the green ray of the heart energy center, they see love as a weakness, as something useless. RA gives the example of Genghis Khan as a negatively polarized historical individual. Genghis Khan was a psychopathic murderer, raping, killing, and pillaging worldwide.

Negatively polarized beings cannot move beyond 6th density. It is at this point they begin to reverse their polarity to the positive in order to continue their evolutionary path. This is where the negatively polarized Social Memory Complexes releases their negative polarization. This is why there are no negatively polarized higher selves.

A negative Social Memory Complex is composed of beings who are negatively polarized. The nature of a negative Social Memory Complex is that of control and domination.

RA explains that a negative Social Memory Complex begins when one negative being recruits another of lesser polarization than itself. These beings join together, furthering polarizing negatively by sharing the message of the service-to-self path. The hierarchy within this Social Memory Complex is like a dictatorship, with each being within it desiring power and position for themselves. This hierarchy is referred to as a "Legion" in religious texts.

The Master of this hierarchy can torture the other beings within the Social Memory Complex in order to force them into submission. By enslavement, the Master gains more power from the negative polarity. Likewise, those who are enslaved follow the bidding of their Master, furthering their own negative polarization. As these beings gain more power, they challenge the authority and power of the Master being.

As the negatively polarized path is one of spiritual entropy, it will constantly gravitate toward disorganization, disharmony, and collapse.

Because of the immense difficulty and commitment in maintaining negative polarization, any being that has attained 4th density negative is honored by all beings. They have become what is considered a Demon. A Demon is a being that has progressed further along the evolutionary path than we have, but has chosen the negatively polarized path of service-to-self, known as the path of darkness.

Demonic beings gravitate toward beings that they can communicate with, and who can share their teachings. These individuals are often those who have what would be called evil intent, practice dark magic, and desire to summon demonic spirits. Such spirits are often very beautiful and mysterious, reflecting the fact that the negatively polarized path sees itself as separate from the whole and is heavily identified with appearances. RA clarifies that all higher density beings inhabit bodies of light, and can therefore appear how they wish, but negatively polarized beings are attempting to disguise their discordant energy through appearing as beautiful.

RA explains that a negative being cannot create negativity within you. It can only manipulate energy distortions toward the negative that are already present. This is why Angels cannot be possessed, as their consciousness is perfectly balanced in love and light. A Demon looks for negative energy within a being to gain an entry point. This being does not have to be evil in nature. It could be that an individual is depressed, fearful, or anxious. They could be angry or envious of others. Any imbalancing negative emotion provides a doorway for the Demon to enter the mind and subtly influence it with dark or tormenting thoughts. Demons target those who have little control over their mind and thought processes so that the Demon gains more control and influence over the consciousness of that being.

As demonic beings function at a much higher level of consciousness, they have a deep understanding of psychic manipulation. The way out of this downward spiral for the human is through simply showing the Demon love, compassion, and understanding. This is why the traditional exorcisms we hear of are often futile attempts to remove the Demon. Priests who rant and rave biblical passages, attempting to cast out the Demon with words of control and anger and fear, simply strengthen the Demon in its negative polarization.

The energy of negative polarization explains the phenomenon of hauntings. Negative events such as a murder generate a powerful and intense energy that radiates where the murder occurred until an act of cleansing reverses the polarity of that energy towards the positive. Such a negatively polarized environment can cause those who enter it to experience very unsettling emotions and psychic attacks.

During a Law of One session, Carla (the channeler) experienced a psychic attack from a 5th density negative being who continually attempted to end the contact by causing Carla to experience physical pain. As Carla suffered from many health issues at the time, the negatively polarized being was able to easily manipulate Carla during the channeling with the intent to end the session.

RA gave the following guidance: By Carla sending love and light to the being, she would then embody the positive polarity. This, in turn, would serve to either depolarize the negative being or cause it to withdraw. Choose to feel love for the negative being, seeing it as an extension of yourself and a being that simply went down the wrong path that can only lead to continued suffering, turmoil and darkness. Feel compassion for it, for this is the protection against all darkness and fear. Love is the strongest magic in the universe.
