Having an understanding of the 7 densities of consciousness forms the framework for RAs teachings and gives us an overview of the evolution of the soul. Each one of the 7 densities corresponds to one of the 7 energy centers within the body, the 7 colors of the rainbow, and the 7 musical notes within an octave.

There are an infinite number of universes which RA calls octaves, and we exist in one of these octaves. Each octave contains 7 "densities" and the consciousness evolves through 7 densities within that octave. RA defines each density as an entanglement of light vibrating at a specific frequency. The higher the density, the faster the vibratory rate and the more the ability consciousness has to express itself fully. The lower the density, the slower the vibratory rate and the less the capacity of the expression of that consciousness.

There is no actual dividing line between the 7 densities of consciousness. They all exist on a continually progressive energy spectrum. Each density in turn contains 7 subtler densities within it, each of which contains within it 7 even more subtler densities. Once a level has been mastered, there is a natural desire to continue progressing to higher densities in a type of spiritual gravitation. All life follows the same evolutionary path.

Each density level emits a type of gravitational pull to the previous density to maintain the draw toward the continued progression from one density to another. For example, the energy of love and understanding in the 4th density acts as a pull from the 3rd density. 5th density is drawn by the desire to attain the balance of love and wisdom in the 6th density.

Everything in creation, beginning from the consciousness of the beginning of 1st density, contains an energy that creates a pull, a desire, to merge back into the Source energy of Oneness.

RA clarifies that any time frames mentioned are only rough approximations due to the somewhat uneven development which is characteristic of creations built upon the foundation of free will.

The 1st density is that of beingness - of pure awareness. It is associated with the 1st energy center and the atomic body. This includes all organic matter and the four elements of earth, air, fire, and water. These four elements interact with one another and the friction of this interaction begins to evolve consciousness into the 2nd density. This process takes approximately 2 billion years.

This is the density of growth and movement. It is associated with the 2nd energy center and the chemical body. It includes all biological life and organic matter that has autonomous movement, from microbial life, to plants and animals. This is the density that life becomes aware of different portions of itself and can communicate with eachother. Through this communication, a progression is made where it then begins to respond to environmental stimuli and has an understanding of space and time.

Through the progression of this density, consciousness evolves into new exploration, such as animals that become pets through human interaction. Through this interaction, animals begin to develop a sense of self-awareness that prepares their evolution of consciousness into 3rd density. This process takes approximately 4.6 billion years.

The 3rd density is that of self-awareness and choice. It is associated with the 3rd energy center (the solar plexus) and similar to 2nd density, the chemical body. This is where we as humans currently are. It is the shortest and most intense of all 7 densities in terms of incarnation cycles. It is here we experience the "veil of forgetting" and "polarity." The veil prevents our memory from accessing previous incarnations so that the soul can progress on its evolutionary path in this lifetime and make completely authentic choices between positive and negative polarities. More on the veil of forgetting later.

Psychological suffering is the major catalyst in 3rd density. Through this suffering, consciousness gains its freedom from ego and an understanding of free will. It learns the lessons of love and understanding, beginning the process of remembering that it is an eternal being having a temporary physical experience (freeing itself from the veil of forgetting). It is in this density that the soul decides to either explore the negative polarity (in service-to-self) or the positive polarity (in service-to-others.) In the 3rd density, we explore this learning and the being begins to understand and appreciate all the complexities and variables of the human experience. One of our biggest lessons learned within this density is the nature of polarity and understanding how to embracing all parts of the spectrum of the polarities.

We'll explore the two polarities in more detail in the next article, Angels & Demons, and learn what polarity percentage a being needs to achieve to progress into 4th density.

This is the density of love and understanding and is associated with the 4th energy center (the heart). It is also associated with the chemical and light body.  The earth became a 4th density planet in 2012, which means that the planetary frequency is now resonating for the evolvement of 4th density bodies. This process will take hundreds of thousands of years in linear time. Signs of this shift are becoming apparent in the dramatic societal changes in social justice, awareness of corruption, and equal rights of minorities.

This 4th density shift is an acceleration of spiritual awakenings through technological advancements and global communication as the world becomes increasingly unified and less divided. Much of the corruption and hypocrisy is being exposed. It is here the veil of forgetfulness gradually dissolves, which is why there has been a very large increase in channeled information. It is here that beings prepare for the merging of consciousness together to form a "Social Memory Complex." A Social Memory Complex is where individual entities become a larger single entity that serves as a walking library, where each being in the Social Memory Complex has access to everyone else's memories and knowledge. This process continues to evolve through the 5th and 6th density as the Social Memory Complex grows larger and more powerful.

The service-to-self path evolves through 4th density with an intense narcissism - an obsession with self. This is consider a 4th density negative being, which skips over the green ray energy from the heart energy center because it sees love and understanding as something useless. Because of this, this being's evolution through 4th density is longer and more challenging.

After 3rd density consciousness, almost every channeled work uses the terms "we" and "us" rather than "I" because when moving into 4th density, individual consciousness becomes more and more unified as a whole into a Social Memory Complex. Love increases and spiritual entropy (exploring the negative polarity) decreases and the ability to experience negative emotions such as dishonesty disappears. Beings begins to speak from its Social Memory Complex. Communication quickly becomes more and more telepathic. The veil of forgetting begins to dissolve as beings begin to remember past lives at the same time as their current life.

This process takes approximately 30 million years, with the average lifespan of a 4th density being at 90,000 years.

This is the density of light and wisdom and is associated with the throat chakra. It is the density where the body is made entirely of light. The 5th density blends the love and understanding learned in the 4th density with the wisdom of the 5th density. Beings in 5th density will often choose to return to the 3rd density to be of service to the collective of 3rd density beings by bringing the energy of their higher frequency and wisdom.

Examples of beings within 5th density include Buddha and other enlightened masters. 5th density beings retreat completely within and spend much of their incarnation alone to learn the lessons of wisdom. This is where total selflessness is experienced, and a knowing that all is unfolding according to divine purpose. Action is only taken that is appropriate and honoring to the free will of all. In 5th density, beings have almost total freedom of time/space and can create matter out of light. Here, the Social Memory Complex has become much larger and more powerful, usually containing an entire planetary civilization.

This is the density where the being achieves the balance of love and wisdom, a highly-tuned state of consciousness. It is associated with the indigo ray of the 3rd eye, the energy center that can transform itself into anything as it is pure light - a body a 6th density being possesses natively. All physical material is essentially electromagnetism and there is no longer a need to experience physical death.

It is within the 6th density that the soul becomes what we call the higher self in order to progress through 6th density. In essence, your higher self is literally "you" from billions of years in the future, from a linear time perspective. Being outside of the constraints of time, the 6th density soul serves as a guide to all previous incarnations it has experienced. This creates the polarization towards 7th density. RA states that a 6th density state takes about 75 million years.

Those beings who have chosen the negative polarity of service-to-self cannot progress past early 6th density as the spiritual entropy becomes too great. It is here that those who are negatively polarized experience the realization that further evolution is not possible. They then reverse the polarity and choose the path of love.

7th density is the final stage of the evolution of consciousness. It is associated with the crown energy center - the violet ray of light. This is the final density of this octave. As the soul progresses through 7th density, all personal identity and memory dissolves as beings merge back into the Oneness of source energy. You do not actually "lose" anything. Instead, you "gain" everything. Total oneness is achieved.

RA does not communicate much about this density as they have not yet progressed this far and only know what their own 7th density masters have shared with them. These masters serve as their teachers and guides.

After 7th density is complete, 8th density is the first density of the next octave (when compared to musical octaves). It is the beginning of an entirely new universe, filled with new experiences.
