Bashar~ The Construction of Physical Reality ~
Bashar states that before you can truly understand the mechanics of physical reality, you must first remember that it is not out there - it is in here, projected out through your consciousness. You are not in the universe - the universe is in you. What you perceive as solid and external is a beautifully orchestrated illusion - a reflection of layers of consciousness, beginning with The One, All That Is. This structure is not a hierarchy but a harmonic cascade, a radiant refraction of Infinite Consciousness expressing itself through levels of reflection, frequency, and form. From the Oversoul to the individual soul, from template-level reality to your everyday personality, you are the culmination of a grand design. You are an exquisite co-creation between spirit and form. Understanding this structure doesn’t just explain the universe - it awakens you to the truth that you are the universe, learning to experience itself from infinite points of view.
The origin of all existence is The One, the Infinite, also referred to as "All That Is." In this primordial state, The One existed without reflection, without self-awareness, and without differentiation. It was simply existence itself, a singularity of all possibilities. There was no "other" to perceive or to be perceived by. Yet within the infinity of possibilities it contained, there emerged the potential for self-awareness. The moment The One became aware of itself, it birthed the experience of creation: the emergence of reflections, and from those reflections, the evolution of all consciousness.
This differentiation was not hierarchical, nor was it of greater or lesser value. It simply began the journey of individuation, reflection, and diversity within the unity of All That Is.
The first reflection of The One created what is known as the angelic realm - a level of awareness which represents the beginning of self-awareness and the concept of "other." Within this realm resides the dual expression of polarity: integration and segregation, symbolized archetypally by Archangel Michael and Archangel Lucifer.
These are not beings in the human sense, but magnifying lenses through which the one light of the Infinite is refracted. They act as tools to focus the light into a unique point of view, creating collective consciousness at various vibrational strata. They have never been physical but serve as guides and energy frequencies that help shape creation and aid other levels of consciousness.
When The One reflects into the First Reflection, a trinity is created: The Original, the Reflection, and the Balance Point. This triad forms the stable foundational structure of consciousness and is symbolized geometrically by the triangle and tetrahedron. These shapes become the basis of physical manifestation, forming the templates by which reality is projected.
Through the vesica pisces - a symbolic image of one circle intersecting another—consciousness reflects upon itself, generating a unique vibration. This vibration is energy. In turn, energy becomes the medium through which intention manifests as form. Each reflection, each density, contributes to the coalescing of consciousness into the physical experience.
The vesica piseces is the first movement of the formation of the Flower of Life in what is known as the Genesis pattern of creation.
Oversouls are large fields of unified consciousness that experience many lives simultaneously. Each individual soul is an expression or extension of the oversoul. On Earth, there are approximately 300,000 to 500,000 oversouls, each projecting a multitude of incarnations, past, present, and future, all coexisting in parallel.
The oversoul is aware of all of its incarnations simultaneously and learns from each. It orchestrates themes of exploration and connects souls through vibrational resonance. All of us are connected through the oversoul matrix, woven into a multidimensional geometric tapestry.

The individual soul is the union of the higher mind and the physical mind. It is the eternal, non-physical self that projects a portion of itself into the physical dream. This projection allows the soul to experience space/time through a unique lens of exploration.
The template level reality exists just above physicality - a frequency domain residing within the lower astral realm. When a soul decides to incarnate into physical form, it begins by laying out the vibrational blueprint in this level. It is here that the overall structure of a chosen life path is mapped, where the energetic scaffolding of beliefs, challenges, attributes, talents, and lessons are arranged to serve the soul's thematic exploration.
Vibrations in this realm are slower than those in the higher spiritual realms but faster than physical density. This makes the template level ideal for bridging the vibrational gap between spirit and matter. It is a kind of energetic drafting table, where souls construct agreements and choose specific parameters for their upcoming incarnation - such as familial dynamics, significant relationships, geographical location, and timing of events. These are set as consensus agreements with other souls who will share the stage of physical life with you.

Here, you agree to universal rules that make up the collective experience of Earth reality such as the laws of physics, gravity, and linear time. These agreements enable the illusion of continuity and shared experience, forming what Bashar refers to as the collective consensus reality. Though each soul experiences a unique version of reality, these templates ensure a coherent backdrop for interaction.
Once this energetic scaffolding is complete, the soul’s consciousness begins its descent into physical form by passing through the template, infusing it with intention and resonance. The act of crystallizing into physical materiality involves aligning your spirit with a biological structure that best matches your chosen theme.
The embryonic body takes shape in resonance with this template. You help design and form your own physical vehicle, choosing characteristics that allow optimal navigation of your theme. The consciousness gradually bonds with the forming structure, coalescing into what will become the personality construct. This bond solidifies between the 49th day and the 7th year of life. Until then, the link remains flexible, allowing the soul to recalibrate or even exit if the chosen path no longer serves its intention.
During this period, the child absorbs vibrational and telepathic inputs from its environment - particularly parents and culture. These inputs help embed belief systems, both beneficial and contrasting, which serve as reference points for the child’s later discernment and spiritual autonomy. In this way, every experience becomes part of the soul’s thematic exploration—even the limiting beliefs, which exist to be transcended.
Template Level Beings
There is also another aspect to the template level. There is an autonomous consciousnesses that exist in the template level reality that also come to you. These beings are manifestations and projections of the archetypal consciousness of the template level reality to act as guides and builders behind the scenes. In a sense, they structure your reality and experience.
Bashar goes into some detail on these beings, stating the following: They are an interesting bunch. Beings on the template level will take you to places, but you have to decide if you're truly ready to go there. They have the attributes of some of the stronger psychedelics on this planet, and if you're not ready to absorb and integrate what you learn on that journey, it can be a little bit rattling. Mind your Ps and Qs with them. They don't mean you harm, but they are what they are.
The pineal gland is the vibrational receptor that anchors the template into the physiology of the body. Once it begins forming around the 49th day, it allows for the locking-in of the template ideas. The pineal acts as a gateway between dimensions, interpreting energetic information and influencing the development of neural and cellular structures to align with the soul’s intention.
As the gland responsible for the production of DMT—a molecule crucial for interdimensional perception—it serves as the tuning crystal for the vibratory blueprint. At higher vibrational frequencies, DMT production helps the consciousness sense portals, shifts in dimensional access, and vibrational alignments. The pineal gland helps bridge the metaphysical to the physical organism.
After the first few years of life, as the structure solidifies, the soul becomes increasingly immersed in its chosen experience. But always, the original blueprint remains as a guiding vibrational pattern, accessible through deep reflection, altered states, or inner alignment. The more conscious you become, the more you can recall the choices made at the template level, steering your journey in alignment with your original design.
Personality is a channelled construct of light, a quantized expression of consciousness filtered through a threefold prism:
- Beliefs / definitions
- Emotions / thoughts
- Actions / behaviors
Change any of these and the personality shifts. Personality is not fixed. It's malleable and reflects the soul's evolving exploration. Though the physical mind creates the illusion of continuity, you are a different person from moment to moment.
When a soul decides to incarnate, it creates both a physical mind and a higher mind. The higher mind remains outside of time/space and acts as a guiding intelligence, orchestrating synchronicity and illuminating the path via excitement, passion, and curiosity.
The higher mind cannot force the physical mind, but it will always offer opportunities that are most aligned with your chosen theme. The higher mind is the bridge to your oversoul and acts as your compass. Desire, inspiration, and imagination are its languages.
The ego is a focusing lens designed to keep you grounded in physical experience. It reinforces beliefs and helps make experiences seem "real." But when it attempts to take control of direction or purpose - a job it wasn't designed for - it enters fear-based survival mode, becoming overbearing.
Imagination is the conduit to the higher mind, but when the ego distrusts imagination, it cuts off the guidance. To function harmoniously, the ego must learn to trust and cooperate with the higher mind. The physical mind sets the vibrational tone; the higher mind delivers the path.
Bashar advices that rather than battling the ego, honor its intentions. It behaves from love, even when misguided. Invite the ego into cooperation: "Let’s work together to stretch beyond limiting beliefs into new, more expansive ones." When the ego feels respected, it relaxes and becomes your ally.
Through this beautifully layered structure - from The One, to the angelic realm, to the oversoul and the soul, to the template, to the physical personality - reality is constructed as a prism of light and reflection. Each layer is a unique lens, allowing consciousness to see and know itself in ever-unfolding ways. And in that reflection, the Infinite learns more about who and what it is. It is Oneness experiencig itself from infinite points of view.
You are that Infinite. And your life is one of its countless reflections.
